Last blog

Hello my dear friends, i am very sad today, because, this is my last post in this great blog. Now, i have to go, and leave english 4.
I do not like to be sentimental, but write this blog is one of the best things that i ever do. In this blog i can talk about a lot of things, like my tastes, my life and my career, if i had to do this again, i will. My teacher, Alvaro, was a nice guy, and he helped to us in very different ways.
Through the blog, i met my partners in a private way, i knew their dreams and hopes, they are lovely people, and i want to stay always with them, haha it is a joke, they are very weird, but nice. Maybe i made some two or three friends.

probably i will take a english course in the future, because i have a lot problems with pronunciation, but this blog was help me to get better my writing. This is not the first time that i write in a blog, the last semester we did it too. I recommend this experience, because it helps a lot with the grammar.
Well, thats all folks, i hope you enjoyed my blog, because i made it with devotion, this is the last time that i take an english course in the university, but was a fun experience. To say goodbye, i will leave you this song, because I think that is perfect to this moment.
 it has been a pleasure.

Hi my dear friends, i am Juan Vega, and today i am going to talk about a topic that i really like, the changes that i would like to apply at EGGP. lets do it.
well, first, the name "Escuela de Gobierno y Gestión Pública" its a too large, i would preffer just: "Escuela de Gobierno", that sounds more cool, and gives to the school a touch of importance.
Second, there are many people in the career, i would reduce the enrollment, to reclute less people, and create more quotas to students at social risk.
Third, many  subjects are very abstract, and the teachers give us knowledge that we will never use, i would preffer something more practical.
(A normal day at the EGGP)
fourth, the more obvious thing, the building, everybody knows that its too small for us, even when we are just five hundred students, the classrooms and the yard do not reach for all of us. Wee need more space to studying and make some wild party, you know...
And the last thing, the food of the dinning room, many times, there are not food for vegetarians, and the options are very basics, i mean, i am not asking for a fine dining, just more options for the people with differents tastes.
I will make a bonus, because this suggestion is not very important, but, for god's sake, can someone do something with the pigeons? i love the animals, but is not very healthy a lot of pigeons in the dinning room, or sometimes, they shit on us, and that is not very funny.
Thats all for today, see you

Vacations

Hi, how are you today? i am your old friend, Juan. Today i am going to talk about my next vacations. Well, I do not know what i am going to do this summer yet, but i think that i will go to the beach with my friends, we gonna have fun. Then i will travel to Mexico and drink shots of tequila with my cuates. I might go to the Colombia, with my friend Joseph Richard, to meet his country and the people, and maybe buy some crazy products, you know....

I do not like the summer, because i hate the hot weather, but i love to wear light clothes, like shorts pants and t-shirts, that makes me happy. Another thing that i like of summer are the festivals and concerts. Also, the tickets for cinema are more cheap, so i can see a lot of movies for a less price.
If I have to be sincere, i like the winter, because you can stay in your house and read with a cup of tea (or coffe).

But the thing that i hate more, is have classes in the summer, with  40°C!! is like to be in hell, but i have to endure, because i like the career and i have to finish it.

Like i said, the summer is not my favorite season of the year, but is nice, and there are not classes.

Animals

Hi boys and girls, today i am going to talk about a very cute topic: Animals, but thats a topic very bore, so i will talk about cryps beasts. What is a crypts? is an hypothetical animal who does not been discovered, but there are a lots of theories of them, for example: Big Foot.
Big Foot or The Sasquatch, is like a big hominid, covered with hair and biped. He lives in the mountains and forests. There is a of theories about Bigfoot,  some people  said that he is an alien and another think that he is the Missing Link. A lot of people affirm that they have been photographed the criature, the most famous picture is this:

Another famous legend is the Loch Ness Monster (or Nessie), that criature is described like a great Lizard, with a large neck and fins. He lives in the Loch Ness, that has been converted in a tourist area. One theory said that "Nessie" is a prehistric animal, like a dinosaur who survived inside the lake.
Here is a famous picture of Nessie

To finish, a important creature that has appeared in Chile, The Chupacabras (goat-sucker), this weird beast is an important part of the culture and folklore of many parts of Latin America. Some people describe it like a some kind of dog, who drinks the blood of rural animals.
Here is a picture of the Chupacabra

Juan has spoked to you and i wish you good nights

POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

Hi people, how are you? i am fine, today i will talk about the postgraduate studies that i would like to do.
I always liked the philosophy and the political science, so i would like to do a master in political science, and then, with effort, do a PhD in political philosophy, that is my dream.
The subjects that i like are the public policies, political parties and the history of the political western thought, that areas are very interesting to me.
I would like to study in another country, but Chile is an option too, obviously, in the Universidad de Chile.
Now, i do not know if i will have the money, but i hope to win a scholarship, that would be great, and will help me a lot. I would like to do class in the EGGP, and train the next generation of public servants.
If i had to choose, i prefer to study in a part time, because that give time to work and study at the same time. I think that is very important to continue with the studies and teach that to the young people, the knowledge is for everybody.
But i am young, so, i can change my ideas, and maybe i will decide to study another thing, i do not know.
So... Thats all folks, see you

My future Job

Hi, i am Juan Vega in a  new post. Today i will talk about a very personal topic, my future job.
I am studying public administration, but there was a time when i wanted to study philosophy, or History. But thats carrers are not duly recognized. So i met the Public Administration, a career that has a lot of differents subjects.

I want to work in a place where i can help to promote the culture and art, it could be in a office or in my house, i do not really care for that. Another of my dreams is do class in the university, teaching to futures publics workers.

I would like to do a Master in political science and specialize in political philosophy.
I think that work in the DIBAM might be very interesting, work with museums and libraries. The INDH (National Institute of Human Rights) is another place where i like to work, the human rights are a topic very important for me, and i would like to defend them.

I like my career, and i expect that my work will help peolple and society, for some people, the bureaucracy of the public administration is very boring, but is a beautiful and useful work.
Public Administration is the best career in the world.

Music

Hi friends, today I will   talk about music, all my favorites genres and artists. Come with me.

When I was a kid, my favorite music was the alternative metal lml I listened bands like Linkin Park, Korn and Limp Bizkit (please, dont judge me). I felt like a real metlahead from hell, but only was a rat boy.

In my adolescence, I started listen AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, yeah babies, I was a bad boy, also I listened cumbia, because cumbia its one of the greatest genres in history of music.  Blue Love (Amar Azul), Claws of love (Garras de Amor) and Burst (Ráfaga). God save the Cumbia.

Then, I started listening The Dead Kennedys, Sex pistols and the Ramones, I was a real punk rocker. And now, I listen a lot of music of every genre, The Smiths, David Bowie, Serge Gainsbourg, Leonard Cohen, The Jaivas, Soundgarden or Johnny Cash. I think that all the music genres have good artists, and is not good enclosed in one. I also listened a lot of 70s and 80s music, my parents are fans of ABBA, The Bee Gees and Tom Jones.
My aunts listen songs of Camilo Sesto, Raphael, Nino Bravo and Leo Dan, they are great too.
Enjoy the Music, no matter what genre.

Bread and roses

Hello my dear friends, today i am going to talk about the movie "bread and roses". The movie is about two latin sisters that work as janitor in a great building.
the principal theme of the history is the immigration, because they have to fight with the big businessmen, who exploit employees.
I like a lot of scenes, but specially when she left the guy naked caught in the department. that was very hilarious. I like too the scene when she hid the guy in the dump. Other part that i liked was when the cops beat protesters, cause you can see how the repression works.

i am in favor of the immigration, because they bring a lot of traditions to our country and we learn about their culture. i have a lot of foreigns friends, from Perú, Haití, Bolivia and Colombia. I like their
accents and their behavior.
like i said, the immigrants are a great input to our culture and tolerance. i hope that some day, we can live in peace, all together like brothers.
like i always do, i give you this song, enjoy

My best concert ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi fellas, how are you? today i am going to talk about the best fucking concert  i have been.
In the 2011, i went to the Iron maiden concert with my best friend, Peter.
I was very happy, because i was going to meet my favorite band (until then) and i bought a t-shirt with the image of eddie the head, But my dog ate it.

The day of the concert i was very excited, i met with my friend and we went to the concert. He gave me some beer, was the first time that i drank that. Then, we enter to the Stadium and waited until the start of concert.
That day was amazing, i rocked a lot, and sang all the songs, aaaaahhhh. the most hilarious thing happened when some guy punched my friend in the eye and he stayed all the week with the eye black! hahaha
Like i said, was a good day, and will be always in my mind.
If you liked my post, say something in the comments.

India

Hi everyone, i am so happy that i will see you again, this semester will be the best.
Today i am going to talk about a country that i would like to go, that country is India, why? beacause i really like their culture and landscapes

India is a country with great spiritual significance, because there, in Bodh Gaya, Siddhartha Gautama found the enlightenment. So, for the buddhists, is very important go to India.
India is a country where nature life and civilization are together, so we can see places like the Taj mahal, or watch some elephants walking in the cities, that would be very picturesque.
In the future, i would like to visit India and meet some buddhist monks, because i am interested in knowing their religion and his point of view about  some things.

Besides India, there are many other countries that i would like to visit, like Greece, Egypt or Japan, because i am also interested in samurai culture
well my dear friends, thats all for today, but, like i always do, i will give a song.

My subject

Hi friends, how are you today? i am happy, because today i am going to talk you about my favorite subject.
The public administration career has a lot of interesting subjects, but  my favorites of this semester are three.
Dynamics of public administration is a great subject, at the begining, i do not like so much, but now i love it!!! the topics of the class are very interesting, and we learn a lot about anything.

The other subject that i like is contemporary political fenomenal. because we learn how it works the politcs ihn Chile, i hope someday to be as great as my teacher, she knows a lot.
This year i took fiminism class, there i have learned a lot about it and is very nice.

And finally my favorite subject is my english class, the teacher is so cool, we always go to her class, because we love to learn english and she is so a nice person. the only problem is that classes are too early, buy we do no t care, because the desire to learn are stronger than the laziness.

Thats all folks, see you next post. Love and peace.

Travels

Hi! how are you? it has been a long time since the last time we spoke, but here i am, ready to continue with this amazing blog. Today i am going to talk about the places that i would like to visit.
The truth is, i am not the kind of person who wants to travel around the world and have great adventures, i would travel to heritage sites with high cultural or historical value.
Since i was a child i have been interested in roman history, so, my first destination would be roma, visit the theatre of pompey, where Julius Caesar was assassinated, or the roman colosseum it would be a indescribable experience.

Another site that i would like to visit is India, there is so much to see that i could not name them all, but i hace special interest in visit Bodh Gaya, because, according to budish tradition, there was where Siddharta Gautama (who would become Buda) found enlightenment.
Other sites equally great that i would love to see are the Forbidden city, in beijing, that was for centuries the home of chinese emperors.

The mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, the city of Shangri-La in China or the egyptian pyramids are the others places i like.
  See you...

My favorite music

Hi my dear friends, today i am going to talk about my favorite kind of music. i can not remember  the first song  i heard, but i supose that probably was a ranchera, because my grandmother heard that music all day long. I can divide my styles in three periods.
1- When i was eleven or twelve years old i loved metal and hard rock bands. My favorite was AC/DC lml I was a real rocker from the hell lml haha. also i listened bands lke Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath... and Linkin Park, please dont judge me.

2-Then, when i was 15, i started to listen 60s and 70s rock bands, like Led zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Deep Purple. That music relaxed me and made me feel in peace ☮.

3.- today,i hear different kind of music, like alternative rock or Indie rock, also some cumbias when i feel happy. My favorite artists are Leonard Cohen, David Bowie and Nick Cave. My guilty pleasure is Johnny Cash, that was real f***ing music.

Hi everyone, today I am going to talk about my favorite picture.

This picture was taken in the south of Chile, in the IX region, I like this picture because bring me a lot of memories, I remember when i was a kid, and I was all day playing with the animals, the mud and the trees, I saw the world so simply and fun. I did not have so much things, but I was happy all day. In the night, my grandmother told me to come in the house, then she gave me dinner and we talked a lot of things. When I was in bed, she read me a story until I fell asleep. In the morning I played imagining the story told by my grandmother. We lived alone in the Middle of a mountain. I liked the solitude and silence. Today, my grandmother is not alive, her house was demolished and my uncles have felled all the trees. There is nothing of that quiet life, but every time I see this picture I remember there was a time in my life when I was totally happy.

Environmental Policies

In Chile, the policies created to protect and caring about the environment are deficient. The big companies pollut the sea and destroy the forests. The government has adopted a pasive position, meanwhile the flora and fauna of chile are being razed. We need to care about our nature life, because is unique in the world.

In 2015 a group of countries like USA, China, Brazil, Chile, etc. signed a document certificating the careful about the contamination in rivers and lakes. The governments agreed to reduce the polution in the environment.

The government of Chile does not care so much about the ministry of environment, in fact, the minister is not very important in the administration. The government has implemneted some policies about native forests and some rivers.

Today we have to protect the species of fishes, the big fishing is exterminating the muliplicity of animals that live in our sea.

Hi my dear friends

today im going to talk about why i choose my career.
when i was a child i want to study history, that was my dream until the ten years. But then i decided to be a writter, so i did not want to go to school.
in the secundary, i became ineterested in physics, so i said "i will be an astronomer", but i was really bad in sciences, so i started again with the idea of being a writter.

When I finished school i want to study philosophy, but that carrer had not employability, and then, in that moment of confusion i met PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, the best career in the world. haha I am just kidding, but it is fine, for now...

The life of no one in particular

Hi people, the first post will be about myself, my life & interests
I was born in Carahue, a small town in the IX region. When i was two years my parents moved to Santiago. I still miss the forests  and the hills full of green, but Santiago is not so bad.
I studied all my basic education at San Sebastián school. When i finished the school i had no idea about what to study, I thought of  phlilosofy, history or audiovisual communication, but finally i decided for public administration in universidad de Chile, it is weird, but i like it, for now...
what do i do? not so much, i enjoy to watch old movies, listen old music and read old books, i prefer the word "classics", but i have to be sincere, all of us are old, and every day a little more...
in this blog i will talk about all that old stuff, i hope you will enjoy.

welcome to the machine...
