Last blog

Hello my dear friends, i am very sad today, because, this is my last post in this great blog. Now, i have to go, and leave english 4.
I do not like to be sentimental, but write this blog is one of the best things that i ever do. In this blog i can talk about a lot of things, like my tastes, my life and my career, if i had to do this again, i will. My teacher, Alvaro, was a nice guy, and he helped to us in very different ways.
Through the blog, i met my partners in a private way, i knew their dreams and hopes, they are lovely people, and i want to stay always with them, haha it is a joke, they are very weird, but nice. Maybe i made some two or three friends.

probably i will take a english course in the future, because i have a lot problems with pronunciation, but this blog was help me to get better my writing. This is not the first time that i write in a blog, the last semester we did it too. I recommend this experience, because it helps a lot with the grammar.
Well, thats all folks, i hope you enjoyed my blog, because i made it with devotion, this is the last time that i take an english course in the university, but was a fun experience. To say goodbye, i will leave you this song, because I think that is perfect to this moment.
 it has been a pleasure.

Hi my dear friends, i am Juan Vega, and today i am going to talk about a topic that i really like, the changes that i would like to apply at EGGP. lets do it.
well, first, the name "Escuela de Gobierno y Gestión Pública" its a too large, i would preffer just: "Escuela de Gobierno", that sounds more cool, and gives to the school a touch of importance.
Second, there are many people in the career, i would reduce the enrollment, to reclute less people, and create more quotas to students at social risk.
Third, many  subjects are very abstract, and the teachers give us knowledge that we will never use, i would preffer something more practical.
(A normal day at the EGGP)
fourth, the more obvious thing, the building, everybody knows that its too small for us, even when we are just five hundred students, the classrooms and the yard do not reach for all of us. Wee need more space to studying and make some wild party, you know...
And the last thing, the food of the dinning room, many times, there are not food for vegetarians, and the options are very basics, i mean, i am not asking for a fine dining, just more options for the people with differents tastes.
I will make a bonus, because this suggestion is not very important, but, for god's sake, can someone do something with the pigeons? i love the animals, but is not very healthy a lot of pigeons in the dinning room, or sometimes, they shit on us, and that is not very funny.
Thats all for today, see you

Vacations

Hi, how are you today? i am your old friend, Juan. Today i am going to talk about my next vacations. Well, I do not know what i am going to do this summer yet, but i think that i will go to the beach with my friends, we gonna have fun. Then i will travel to Mexico and drink shots of tequila with my cuates. I might go to the Colombia, with my friend Joseph Richard, to meet his country and the people, and maybe buy some crazy products, you know....

I do not like the summer, because i hate the hot weather, but i love to wear light clothes, like shorts pants and t-shirts, that makes me happy. Another thing that i like of summer are the festivals and concerts. Also, the tickets for cinema are more cheap, so i can see a lot of movies for a less price.
If I have to be sincere, i like the winter, because you can stay in your house and read with a cup of tea (or coffe).

But the thing that i hate more, is have classes in the summer, with  40°C!! is like to be in hell, but i have to endure, because i like the career and i have to finish it.

Like i said, the summer is not my favorite season of the year, but is nice, and there are not classes.

Animals

Hi boys and girls, today i am going to talk about a very cute topic: Animals, but thats a topic very bore, so i will talk about cryps beasts. What is a crypts? is an hypothetical animal who does not been discovered, but there are a lots of theories of them, for example: Big Foot.
Big Foot or The Sasquatch, is like a big hominid, covered with hair and biped. He lives in the mountains and forests. There is a of theories about Bigfoot,  some people  said that he is an alien and another think that he is the Missing Link. A lot of people affirm that they have been photographed the criature, the most famous picture is this:

Another famous legend is the Loch Ness Monster (or Nessie), that criature is described like a great Lizard, with a large neck and fins. He lives in the Loch Ness, that has been converted in a tourist area. One theory said that "Nessie" is a prehistric animal, like a dinosaur who survived inside the lake.
Here is a famous picture of Nessie

To finish, a important creature that has appeared in Chile, The Chupacabras (goat-sucker), this weird beast is an important part of the culture and folklore of many parts of Latin America. Some people describe it like a some kind of dog, who drinks the blood of rural animals.
Here is a picture of the Chupacabra

Juan has spoked to you and i wish you good nights

POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

Hi people, how are you? i am fine, today i will talk about the postgraduate studies that i would like to do.
I always liked the philosophy and the political science, so i would like to do a master in political science, and then, with effort, do a PhD in political philosophy, that is my dream.
The subjects that i like are the public policies, political parties and the history of the political western thought, that areas are very interesting to me.
I would like to study in another country, but Chile is an option too, obviously, in the Universidad de Chile.
Now, i do not know if i will have the money, but i hope to win a scholarship, that would be great, and will help me a lot. I would like to do class in the EGGP, and train the next generation of public servants.
If i had to choose, i prefer to study in a part time, because that give time to work and study at the same time. I think that is very important to continue with the studies and teach that to the young people, the knowledge is for everybody.
But i am young, so, i can change my ideas, and maybe i will decide to study another thing, i do not know.
So... Thats all folks, see you

My future Job

Hi, i am Juan Vega in a  new post. Today i will talk about a very personal topic, my future job.
I am studying public administration, but there was a time when i wanted to study philosophy, or History. But thats carrers are not duly recognized. So i met the Public Administration, a career that has a lot of differents subjects.

I want to work in a place where i can help to promote the culture and art, it could be in a office or in my house, i do not really care for that. Another of my dreams is do class in the university, teaching to futures publics workers.

I would like to do a Master in political science and specialize in political philosophy.
I think that work in the DIBAM might be very interesting, work with museums and libraries. The INDH (National Institute of Human Rights) is another place where i like to work, the human rights are a topic very important for me, and i would like to defend them.

I like my career, and i expect that my work will help peolple and society, for some people, the bureaucracy of the public administration is very boring, but is a beautiful and useful work.
Public Administration is the best career in the world.
  See you space cowboy...

Music

Hi friends, today I will   talk about music, all my favorites genres and artists. Come with me.

When I was a kid, my favorite music was the alternative metal lml I listened bands like Linkin Park, Korn and Limp Bizkit (please, dont judge me). I felt like a real metlahead from hell, but only was a rat boy.

In my adolescence, I started listen AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, yeah babies, I was a bad boy, also I listened cumbia, because cumbia its one of the greatest genres in history of music.  Blue Love (Amar Azul), Claws of love (Garras de Amor) and Burst (Ráfaga). God save the Cumbia.

Then, I started listening The Dead Kennedys, Sex pistols and the Ramones, I was a real punk rocker. And now, I listen a lot of music of every genre, The Smiths, David Bowie, Serge Gainsbourg, Leonard Cohen, The Jaivas, Soundgarden or Johnny Cash. I think that all the music genres have good artists, and is not good enclosed in one. I also listened a lot of 70s and 80s music, my parents are fans of ABBA, The Bee Gees and Tom Jones.
My aunts listen songs of Camilo Sesto, Raphael, Nino Bravo and Leo Dan, they are great too.
Enjoy the Music, no matter what genre.
